I'm not The Pioneer Woman

I don't take good pictures, especially when I'm cooking. I don't live on a ranch (or anywhere else in the vicinity of manure). And my hubby would be mortified if I posted photos of him for all the world to see.

In spite of this, I decided awhile ago to start blogging, which is quite a stretch for someone who could never get past January 5 in a diary, and whose almost-30-year-old son has a nearly empty baby book. Of course, "deciding" never actually accomplishes anything. So one day around the first of June, I settled on today, June 21, 2010, the first day of summer and the longest day of the year. THIS would be the day I finally took the plunge. My second grandbaby was due today, and since babies are rarely born when we forecast, I figured I would have plenty of free time (and lots of daylight) today.

But at 9:47 a.m. I became grandma to a beautiful little girl. And she, along with her big brother, is who gives me the credentials to blog about Grandma Stuff. Even if I'm not The Pioneer Woman. Or even * A* Pioneer Woman.
